Vice President, Marketing + Community Development
Joel leads all marketing, business development, content and community outreach at Ideas Collide. Working closely across account and business development teams, he develops compelling storytelling and integrated brand marketing programs. Notable work includes campaigns for 1836 Farms, Health Current, Arizona Humane Society, Banner Health and Best Western Hotels & Resorts. He is most proud of leading and developing the brand vision and platform for Danzeisen Dairy.
As a four-generation Arizonan, Joel is passionate about local brands that grow with prestige and prominence nationally. Across his 14-plus years in business development, half of that time has been spent working with national and local nonprofits.
Joel co-launched the Ideas Collide incubator program in 2014, which donates design resources, strategy resources and marketing dollars to Phoenix- and Portland-area startups and charities. He also currently serves on the boards for the Greater Phoenix Chamber and Devereux Behavioral Health.
Joel studied at Arizona State University, receiving a degree in Communications. He is a passionate Phoenix Suns fan, and loves living and being connected in the Biltmore area with his wife and three pets.
