Shocking Expansion and Accelerated Growth in 2016
By Ideas Collide
Ideas Collide, a full-service strategic marketing firm, saw significant growth in 2016 through new client acquisitions, an extensive office renovation and expansion, a second office location opening in Portland, Oregon and the addition of 15 new employees to the team, including five based in Portland.
Founded in 2005 as a boutique communications agency, Ideas Collide now proudly serves hundreds of clients across a variety of industries including hospitality, nonprofit, technology, beauty, health care, entertainment, retail, education and more. Notable new clients in 2016 include Harkins Theatres, Avnet, Norton Point, Junior Achievement of Arizona, Deckers Outdoor Corporation, Televerde, McCormick Stillman Railroad Park and GCD Communities.
To support its growing client roster, the agency promoted three vice presidents to the leadership team this year including Bridget Daly as vice president of account services, Joel Eberhart as vice president of marketing and community development and Michael Fleming as vice president of digital strategy.
“Ideas Collide took a significant growth step forward in 2016, expanding our client base, our internal talent and our physical footprints in Phoenix and Portland,” said Rebecca Clyde, CXO and agency founder. “Looking toward 2017, we’re excited, energized and optimistic that we will continue to grow strategically by working closely with our client and teams along with attracting the best partners and talent to our firm.”
Recently, Ideas Collide completed work to expand and reinvigorate its creative studio and office space near Old Town in Scottsdale. With double the square footage, the office’s open floor plan is designed to encourage collaboration and innovation. The space includes a dedicated video production studio, photo shoot loft, 50-person auditorium, commercial-grade kitchen and multiple custom design elements with a nod to mid-century design based on the 1962 building where the agency is headquartered. Earlier in 2016, Ideas Collide established an office in the Pearl District of Portland, Oregon to better serve a growing client base in the Northwest.
“The goal for our new offices was to create a vibrant environment so our team, clients and the communities in which we work and serve could feel constantly inspired by their surroundings,” shared Clyde. “The agency has already hosted special events for community partners including the Greater Phoenix Chamber of Commerce, Valley Young Professionals, Local First Arizona, Modern Phoenix and the Junior League of Phoenix in our new, dynamic space.” Take a tour of the finished space!
