Technology is evolving faster than most teams can keep up with, and Arizona Tech Week made that clear.

The event brought together an incredible mix of innovators, marketers, and technology leaders, all focused on what’s next.

We were proud to host a fast-paced morning session at Ideas Collide through IC Tech, our dedicated division focused exclusively on marketing for technology companies. The session brought together experts across cybersecurity, AI, paid media, and both B2B and B2C marketing strategy. It was one of those moments where the energy in the room matched the pace of the conversation. Thoughtful, practical, and forward-looking.

Why We Hosted This Session

At IC Tech, we spend a lot of time working with teams navigating the growing complexity of B2B technology marketing.

Budgets are tightening. Expectations continue to rise. And teams are being asked to connect strategy, execution, and measurable results across increasingly complex ecosystems.

We hosted this session to bring those conversations into the room. Not just to talk about what’s changing, but to focus on what teams should do next.

To create space for sharing real perspectives, practical insights, and ideas that help turn complexity into something clearer and more actionable. Because at the end of the day, the real opportunity is not just in having more data or more technology. It is in knowing how to use it.

A Morning Built on Insight and Execution

Rooted in Ideas Collide’s IC:IDQ marketing intelligence approach, the session focused on a simple but powerful idea. Turning data into action.

From keynote perspectives to hands-on presentations, each speaker brought a unique lens on how technology is reshaping the way we connect with customers, build strategies, and drive results.

Key Themes That Stood Out

While each session covered a different angle, a few themes came through consistently:

        1. AI Is Moving from Concept to Application

Across topics like agentic AI, customer engagement, and marketing trends, the conversation has clearly shifted. This is no longer about potential. It is about application, and how teams are using AI today to drive better outcomes across industries.

       2. The Shift from Search to Answers

As search behavior evolves, so does the way brands need to show up. Attention is no longer earned through clicks. It is earned through answers, delivered quickly, clearly, and in context.

        3.  Data Only Matters If It Drives Action

One of the most consistent takeaways was that having data is not enough. Data without action is just noise. The real value comes from how quickly and effectively teams can turn that data into decisions, alignment, and measurable impact.

      4. Technology and Marketing Are More Connected Than Ever

From networking infrastructure to customer engagement platforms, the lines between technology and marketing continue to blur. The teams that succeed will be the ones who can connect strategy, systems, and execution.

These are the exact challenges IC Tech was built to help solve, bringing clarity, alignment, and measurable impact to modern tech marketing.

A Lineup That Delivered

We were fortunate to have an incredible group of speakers who brought these ideas to life:

  • Sharan Mahadevan (RUCKUS Networks) – Agentic AI + The Future of Networking
  • Michael Fleming (IC Tech) – Turning Data into Actionable Intelligence
  • Thomas Hollmann (Arizona State University) – Getting Real Work Done in AI
  • Chris Pace (SearchStax) – From Search to Answers: Winning in the Low-Click Era
  • Rebecca Clyde (Botco.ai) – Transforming Patient Experiences with AI
  • Jennifer Spangler (IC Tech) – AI + Marketing Trends: How marketers need to adapt for an AI-first future

And of course, a surprise appearance from the Phoenix Suns Gorilla added a bit of fun to an already dynamic morning.

Because at the end of the day, the real opportunity is not just in having more data or more technology. It is in knowing how to use it.

Built on Collaboration

Events like this do not happen without a strong network of partners, contributors, and a team working behind the scenes to bring it all together.

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who helped make this session a success. From the speakers who shared their expertise to the IC Tech and Ideas Collide teams who ensured everything ran smoothly, it was truly a collective effort.

A special thank you to our co-host, Christine Davis, Director of Sales and Marketing at Stellar Technologies, the official cybersecurity provider for the Phoenix Suns and Phoenix Mercury. Christine brings both strategic clarity and a relentless drive to execute, consistently turning ideas into meaningful outcomes. We are proud to partner with her and the Stellar Technologies team.

We would also like to recognize our sponsors, whose support and perspectives helped shape such a dynamic and insightful session:

We are grateful for their partnership and for the role each of them plays in advancing innovation across the technology landscape.

Finally, a thank you to the Arizona Commerce Authority for their support in helping to create and grow opportunities like this for technology companies and organizations across Arizona. Their commitment to strengthening the local tech ecosystem continues to make a meaningful impact.

Looking Ahead

Arizona Tech Week was a strong reminder of how quickly this space continues to evolve and how important it is to stay connected, adaptable, and focused on what drives real results.

The pace of change is not slowing down. The opportunity is in how we respond to it.

If these themes resonate with your team, we would welcome the opportunity to continue the conversation.

We are excited to keep it going.
