Giving back and a sense of community has always been important to me. That desire led me to start my career in the non-profit sector working for Susan G. Komen® Arizona. When I was faced with a career change, I knew I wanted to find a new home that valued its employees and giving back to the community.
I knew Ideas Collide from my time working for Komen Arizona. Thanks to the opportunity I had working very closely with the team for many years as a client, I often got a peek at their unique culture. They were always willing to go above and beyond for the client, while still making sure their employees felt loved & supported. I knew that if I had the chance to join the team at Ideas Collide, it would be like getting to sit at the “Cool Kids Table”.
Since I accepted the offer to be part of the Ideas Collide family, it has felt like home. The very first day, everyone welcomed me with a smile, snacks, and a great sense of humor. Each morning, as I walk through the doors, I know that I am going to be faced with challenges, but I will never face those challenges alone. Today, I get to further my passion for charity as I work with several other important organizations, such as Playworks Arizona, Girls in Tech, Arizona Technology Council, and the Arizona Humane Society.
Those and many more reason are #whyIC.
