ICMC Team Spotlight – Jamie Nuzbach

Jamie 2 (1)

She’s a trained artist, grew up riding horses, hasn’t owned a car in years, is scared of her first Phoenix summer, and is now IC/MC’s new creative director. Jamie Nuzbach joins the Ideas Collide family from saksfifthavenue.com and saksoff5th.com located in New York City. Before working on one of the best known retail brands in the world, she worked at bloomingdales.com and Modern Luxury Media based in Chicago. She is also a graduate of the University of Iowa (go Hawkeyes). She’s excited to go a year without snow while living closer to her older brother, two nieces and parents, and is happy to be able to see the sky and mountains without skyscrapers blocking the view.

When it comes to her role at Ideas Collide, Jamie is bringing her in-house marketing and creative experience to the agency setting, specifically her wisdom that more isn’t always more. “Now that I’m a veteran; I’m more about editing my work. With the mobile trend, you have to be super clean with how you design. You don’t want to add extra images when you don’t have to. The design community is really leaning toward this flat, simplistic approach.”
