Growing up in California, Amy Ashurst had two passions: Art and Basketball. Her basketball talent won her recruiting offers from universities across the U.S., but when a devastating injury blew out the candle on her WNBA aspirations, it fanned the fire of her love for design and art. She accepted an offer from Arizona State and enrolled in their Graphic Design – Management program, where she excelled. Amy has worked on a variety of design projects including Pottery Barn and an award-winning student project at ASU wherein Amy developed a voice-controlled R/C car intended for children with Autism.
Amy’s style is clean and minimalistic. While she can seamlessly integrate with the personality of any brand, her favorite thing is to build a brand image from the ground up. She is a sharp, insightful brand design developer and over her three years on the Ideas Collide design team has worked on almost every client account including Vitamin Water, Philanthropegie and The League of Arizona Cities and Towns.
We feel lucky to have our All-Star designer on the team and look forward to years more of slam dunks.
